Kailua Beach 4.4 mile run 2008 race Review Review by Louis Tomsic Kailua beach is eroding slightly on the Lanikai side. After a quick start, it was not necessary to hug the shoreline because sand was compact a few meeters above the shoreline. There was about 50 runners who did this race. The view while running is beautiful looking out to the ocean. The race is held by the Mid Pacific Road Runners Club. It is a nice race to run because you do not need to worry about any cars or traffic.Last Updated: July 20, 2008 |
